Circular economy is a model of production and consumption that implies recycling materials and existing products, thus extending their life cycle and helping to minimise waste.Once a product has fulfilled its function,the materials of which it is made are in fact reintroduced, where possible, in the business cycle. In so doing, these can be constantly reused within the production cycle, generating additional value.

THE ENVIRONMENT IS AT THE CENTER OF THE ECOLOGICAL RECOVERY AND RECYCLING PROCESS OF TOBANELLI S.P.A.
Beside avoiding the extraction of bauxite, the recovery and recycling of aluminum helps saving up to 95% of the energy required to produce it from the raw material. You need indeed 14 KWh to obtain 1 kg of aluminum from bauxite, while you only need 0,7 kWh of energy to obtain 1 kg of new aluminum from the used one. It therefore saves large amounts of water and energy, as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Recycled aluminium has the same properties as primary one and can be used for new packaging and in different industries, such as automotive, construction, household… The environment is at the center of the ecological recovery and recycling process of TOBANELLI S.p.A. also due to constant monitoring of plants, machinery and air protection – thanks to the absence of thermal processes.
